The Matt Eggar Memorial Scholarship honors the legacy of Matt Eggar, a dedicated OSJ at TAG Advisors who was passionate about helping others succeed in financial services. Matt worked tirelessly to build his career, overcoming challenges with perseverance and determination. He believed deeply in making the industry more accessible to those with the drive and potential to succeed, regardless of their background. Through this scholarship, his vision lives on—empowering the next generation of financial professionals. Each year, two $2,500 scholarships are awarded to promising youths or young professionals pursuing a future in financial services.

  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program in the upcoming year with the intent to work in the financial services industry, or currently working in the financial services industry.
  • The applicant must have a connection to TAG Advisors; the connection must have joined the firm on or before July 1, 2025.
  • Completed application form below, including associated documents:
    1. Two letters of recommendation.
    2. The school you will be attending in the upcoming academic year or your current employer.
    3. 300–500-word essay describing why you want to enter the financial services industry or how the scholarship will help you further your career in financial services.
  • Note: TAG employees and their family members are not eligible for the scholarship.
